City of Edgewater The City of Edgewater, Colorado, is located at the extreme
eastern boundary of Jefferson County on the west side of metropolitan Denver just west of
Sloan Lake. It is surrounded by the communities of Denver on the east, Lakewood on the
west and south, and Wheat Ridge on the north. Because of its location it affords a
spectacular view of the Denver skyline, which is just a ten minute drive away, and
residents have easy access to I-25, I-70, and 6th Avenue. This makes Edgewater an ideal
place for those wishing to avail themselves of recreational opportunities in the Rocky
Mountains or the various commercial, retail and cultural centers in the vicinity.
