Town of Avon. We work hard to serve not only the local residents, but the tourist
population as well. Avon, at the base of Beaver Creek Ski area and next to Vail, grew from
a sleepy town of 1,300 in the mid 1980s to 5,800 full-time residents in 2003. Including
visitors to our town during the ski and summer seasons our population rises to as high as
10,000
